Brooklyn Lynae Cantrell, 28, of Morrison passed Saturday, April 6, 2024. She was born on June 9, 1995 in McMinnville, was a member of the Trousdale Church of Christ, and an employee of Generations and Warehouse Discount Grocery (WDG). Brooklyn loved her kids and family, liked taking care of people, and enjoyed all things Halloween. She was preceded in death by her mother, Brandy Lynnette Cantrell Nokes; grandmother, Darlene Cantrell; paternal great grandmother, Rovena Smith and grandfathers, Darrell Vaughn and Danny Aubrey Cantrell.

 She is survived by her children, Aubrie Hutchins and Grayson Hutchins; their father and her significant other, Tyler Hutchins; father, William Gordon Cornett, Jr.; great grandmother, Dorothy Mae Northcutt Brown; paternal grandmother, Sharon (Charlie) Connell; siblings, Chloe Nokes, William Shane Cornett, Shayna Nicholo Cornett, MaKayla Cornett Bain and Beulah Marie “Sissy” Pelfrey; uncle and aunt that are like parents to her, Jason and Brandie Cantrell and their children that are like a brother and sisters to her, Daniel (Marie Hill) Cantrell, Caitlin (Isaiah Rader) Cantrell and Jasmine (Seth) Davidson; special aunt, Dawn Myers; aunts, Sandra (David) Coppinger, Vanessa Cornett Myers and Janice Foster, her husband Colten Gene Young; and a host of family members and dear friends also survive.

 Funeral service is scheduled at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Alan Northcutt will officiate. Interment will follow at Trousdale Cemetery. Visitation with the Cantrell family was held on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home.

 Memorial donations in memory of Brooklyn may be made to McMinnville Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
