Bobbie Jean Crawford, 84

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Bobbie Jean Crawford, 84, was born June 3, 1936 and died May 17 at her residence following an extended illness.         

A homemaker and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Audley Panter and Etta Nunley. She was married on Dec. 24, 1956 to Carl Gene Crawford, who preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 2008.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister Joanna King.

Mrs. Crawford is survived by son and daughter-in-law, David and Brenda Crawford of Newport, Tenn., daughter, Patti Mayfield of McMinnville, four grandchildren, Jake and Andrew Crawford and Madison and Gaines Mayfield, three great-grandchildren, half-brother Terry Panter of McMinnville, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, at New Union Cemetery on Highway 30 in Warren County with Scotty Lawson officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
