Beula Fay Rowland, 75, of the Belk community, died Sunday night, Feb. 14 at NHC HealthCare Center in Smithville.She was born Oct. 8, 1940 to her parents, the late Albert and Ethel May Watson Simpson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Jimmy Simpson; and sister, Nora Underwood.Mrs. Beula was a member of the Church of Christ and a retired factory worker. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Houston Rowland of the Belk community; two children, Lisa (Daniel) Helms and Jeff (Crystal) Rowland, both of Smithville; two grandchildren, Emily Summers and Dustin (Crystal) Summers; 2 great-grandchildren, Kinsley Norris and Allissa Caldwell; 1 brother, Don (Alda) Bandy of McMinnville; special cousins, Linda (Dale) Pursell of Liberty, Diane (Donnie) Fults of McMinnville and Jewel (Max) Barney of Smithville; several nieces and nephews also survive.
