Betty Sue Minton, 74, a Campaign resident and Warren County native died Sept. 7 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness.
She was an employee of Three Star Mall, a member of Eastside Baptist Church, and daughter of the late Frank and Tennie Davis Hillis.
She was married June 8, 1957 to Billy Joe Minton, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Georgia Gorman, Sarah Southard, Mary Hines, Enzie George, Shirley Manus and Gracie Hillis, and brothers, James, F.C. Buddy, Marlin and Lewis Hillis.
Mrs. Minton is survived by children, Debbie (Charles) Barnes and Timmy (Pam) Minton of McMinnville; grandsons, Justin (Stacia) Barnes and Matthew (Kayla) Barnes of McMinnville; granddaughter, Tiffany (Lucas) Hendrickson of McMinnville; great-granddaughter, Myah Grace Hendrickson of McMinnville; step-grandsons, Brandon and Patrick Adcock; sister, Edna Ledbetter; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at High’s Chapel with interment to follow at Friendship Cemetery. Jim Hunt and John Padgett will officiate. Visitation will be held 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at High’s.
