Betty Marie Wood, 60, of McMinnville died Monday, Sept. 7 at her home in McMinnville.She was born Monday, Oct. 25, 1954 in Spencer and was the daughter of William Harmon and the late Emma McDowell King.She is survived by her husband, Elvis Wood; daughter, Geneva McKelvey and husband, John; son, Michael Cole; stepson, Isaiah Wood; father - William Harmon; mother-in-law, Pat Wood; brothers-in-law, Arnold Wood and Otis Wood; six grandchildren, Samuel, Tyler, Elijah, Tristen, Rose, Elena McKelvey; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Katy McKelvey; brother, Bobby Harmon; and father-in-law, Elvis “Cotton” Wood.The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Jon Ballard officiating. Interment will follow at White Hill Cemetery in Spencer. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and again Thursday from 8 to 11 a.m. at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.
