McMinnville resident and Warren County native Betty June Gribble, 87, was born April 2, 1926 and died Sept. 22 at Raintree Manor following a brief illness.A homemaker and a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Samantha Lou “Dovie” McDowell Dove. She was married to Clayton Gribble, who preceded her in death Aug. 11, 2003.She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Patsy Bolding of McMinnville and Gail and Jackie Smoot of McMinnville; four grandchildren and spouses, Brad and Marcy Bolding of Rock Island, Abi and Mark Smith of McMinnville, Clay and Misty Bolding of Rock Island, and Jenny Pennington of McMinnville; two step-grandchildren and spouses, Teresa and Brad Pepper and Crystal and Brian Hewitt, all of Morrison; six great-grandchildren, Justin Barnes of Knoxville, Jailyn Bolding, Briley Bolding and Avery Maclain Bolding, all of Rock Island, and Kansas Pennington-Hennessee and Dellan Watson, both of McMinnville; six step-great-grandchildren, T.J. and Torye Rigsby of Rock Island and Kelsey and Wesley Pepper and Lucus and Thomas Hewitt, all of Morrison; sister, Nadell Watson of McMinnville; and three nephews.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at High’s Chapel with Tony Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bybee Chapel Cemetery.
