McMinnville resident and Warren County native Betty Joyce Dillard, 73, was born May 22, 1942 and died Dec. 8 at her residence following a long illness.A self-employed home cleaner, she was the daughter of the late Herman D. and Myrena Womack Looper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Donald and Franklin Looper; sister, Linda Kay Looper; and an infant son. She is survived by daughter, Tina (Roderick) Dillard of McMinnville; son, Johnathan Dillard of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Roderick Dimitri Lusk, Rhealyn Lusk, Katriel Lusk and Anessa Lusk all of McMinnville; four sisters, Vonda Cope of Painesville, Ohio, Shelby Turman of Clearwater, Fla., Norma Wolford of St. Louis, Mo., and Jo Ann (Holbert) Brown of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, DeRoyer Looper of Nashville, and Ray Looper of St. Louis, Mo.; special friend, Frances McKinley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, in High’s Chapel with Michael Harris officiating.
