McMinnville resident Betty Jean Dixon, 76, died March 5.A member of Smartt Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Nellie Ruth Wade McGowan and was preceded in death by brother, Lester Paul McGowan.She is survived by her husband, Bobby Dixon; children, Eddie and wife, Kathy Hennessee, Wanda and husband, Joe Smith, Cathy Dixon, Darron and wife, Kirstie Dixon; siblings, Dorothy Stembridge, Jimmy and Kenneth McGowan and Cynthia Martin; seven grandchildren, Jacqueline King, Morgan Averyt, Cassy Hennessee, Candy Ramsey, Will Hennessee, Connor Dixon and Ezra Dixon; five great-grandchildren, Katelee Ramsey, Kaileigh Ramsey, Raiden Buckner, Dathin King, and Eillie Grace Dixon; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Larry Vinson, Eddie Reed Jr. and Willie Newby officiating.
