McMinnville resident and Warren County native Benny Jackson Black Jr., 53, was born Jan. 4, 1967 and died Feb. 4 at his residence following a sudden illness.
The owner of Black’s Heating & Air and a member of Christ Community Church where he was Deacon of the House, he was the son of Ana Bass of McMinnville and the late Benny Jackson Black Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother Benji Black.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Telisha Lanette Biles and husband Justin of Murfreesboro, and Seth Matthew Black and fiancée Karlin Belcher of McMinnville, two grandchildren Anamarie Biles and Adalynn Jean Biles, two brothers Randy Black of Morrison, and Ronald Black of McMinnville, stepmother and extended family, fiancée Connie Sanders of McMinnville, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at High’s Chapel with Jeremy Kliewer officiating. Burial will follow at Morrison Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
