McMinnville resident and Roane County native Archie Lee Reno, 80, died Oct. 15 at his home after an extended illness.A retired truck driver and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Arthur Bird and Etta Mae Grisby Reno. He was also preceded in death by sons Troy, Tony and Kelly Reno, and sister Viola Roberts.He is survived by his wife of 55 years Charlotte Reed Reno, sons and daughter-in-law Larry Reno, and Tracy and Donna Reno, all of McMinnville, eight grandchildren Sherry, Kristy, Brandon, Bethni, Jeremy, Ashley, Shelley and Jayden, 14 great-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, sisters Cecil Lynn of Alabama, Bonnie Davis of California, and Lorene Johnson of Riceville, Tenn., brothers Charlie Reno and Bill Reno, both of Niota, Tenn., several nieces and nephews.Funeral service is Monday at 2 p.m. at High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at New Union Cemetery on Highway 30.
