Annie Lee Smartt, 89, died Tuesday, Dec. 6.She was born March 6, 1922 to Grundy and Fronie McCorkel Richardson, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Aubrey Smartt; sons, Paul David Smartt and James Alfred Smartt; sisters, Pearl Summers and Mary Richardson; brothers, McKinley, John, Isaac, Herman, Clarence and Lester Richardson. She is survived by her daughter, Reba Jane Sweeton; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Anthony Wanamaker and Jeff Hill officiating, with burial following at Walker Cemetery.
