Funeral services for Annie Beatrice Baker, 89, of Summitville will be conducted at 11 a.m., today at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Craddock and Rev. Donald Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Baker died Sunday morning at River Park Hospital in McMinnville.
She was born in Brittsville, the daughter of the late George Lee Whitmire and Jane Lawson Whitmire. She was a homemaker and graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1940 where she played on the basketball team. Mrs. Baker was a member of Summitville First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Baker, son, Ronnie Baker, daughter, Carolyn Swann and by one great-grandchild, Noah.
She is survived by daughter, Shirley Ann Evans of McMinnville; son, Randy Baker of Summitville; brother, Ray Whitmire of Tullahoma; sister, Irene Millaway of Tullahoma; six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren
Manchester Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
