Ann Conner, 70, a Christiana resident and Cannon County native, was born May 18, 1946 and died April 26 in NHC Healthcare of Murfreesboro following an extended illness.
She was a retired director of family resource with Manchester Westwood School, a member of Unity Church of Christ, and daughter of the late Harry Forest and Ruby Elizabeth Whitfield Brandon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lady Ruth Reed and Pamela Brandon.
Mrs. Conner was married Nov. 28, 2002 to Robert Junior Conner, who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons and spouses, Timothy Wayne and Holly Bush of Bowling Green, Ky., David Rena and Christine Conner of Murfreesboro, and Dennis Wayne and Sindy Conner of McMinnville; daughter and spouse, Kimberly Sue and Rocky Freeman of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Allison Bush, Jacob Bush, Jared Conner and Seth Conner; three sisters and spouse, June and Mike Smith of Nashville, Charlene Brandon of Beech Grove and Juanita Nichols of Woodbury; brother and spouse, Larry and Peggy Brandon of Woodbury; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at High’s Chapel with Charles Williams to officiate. Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
