Mrs. Alta Brownie Lance, 95, of Morrison, died at her residence on Thursday, May 16, surrounded by family. She was born Jan. 13, 1929, in McMinnville, was a retired employee of over 30 years with the hand winding department at Magnetek Century Electric, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Lance was preceded in death by parents, Jess and Bertha Underwood Cunningham; husband, Stanley Grey Lance; step-son, Richard Lance; baby brother, William Cunningham; sister, Aline Orr; and brothers, Chester, Cecil, Jessee and Jewell (Dude) Cunningham.

Survivors include daughter, Susan (Randy) Jaco; grandson, Hunter Bernhardt; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gladys Lance  and special caregiver, Joyce Nuss.

Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Bro. Jim Ramsey will officiate. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery and no visitation will be held at the funeral home.
