Al Durward Elkins, 86, of McMinnville, died Sunday, June 25, at his residence.He was born June 26, 1930, in Cannon County, and was a retired employee with Chrysler-Plymouth Corporation, former employee of Alvin C. York VA Medical Center. He served his country with the U S Army during the Korean War, and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mr. Elkins was preceded in death by his parents Issac Raymond and Virginia Eldora Mitchell Elkins, sisters Wanda Craddock, Gail Lawley, and Lila Dees, and brothers Gary, Layne, Vernon, and Raymond Elkins, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 58 years Clemmie Clarine Elkins of McMinnville, sisters Mallie “Judy” (Allen) Bryson and Shirley (Johnnie) Bryson, all of Woodbury, sisters-in-law Paulette Ervin and Mickey Ervin, all of Lynchburg, and Joan (Royce) Sissom of Mt.
