Joyce Haggard has completed her first book “Beyond the Tears,” a Christian, inspirational fiction designed for teenagers. The book has been in the works for eight years, with Haggard, who writes under the pen name of J.A. Nelson, writing it in phases. “I have worked on it off and on for several years, and since I was a teenager I said I was going to write a book,” said Haggard.
