Fifty-five to compete for Snow Princess titles

A total of 55 young ladies will compete for four separate Snow Princess titles tomorrow. A new Miss, Young Miss, Preteen and Little Miss will be crowned in the pageants taking place in the Warren County High School auditorium. Starting time for the Little Miss is noon, Young Miss starts at 2 p.m., Preteen starts at 4 p.m., and Miss will begin at 7 p.m. The pageants are fundraisers for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, with Susan Burks the pageant director. 
Royalty relinquishing their titles are, Little Miss Dallis Melton, Young Miss Bailey Guy, Preteen Madison Ledbetter and Miss Kristen Perry.
Miss Snow Princess contestants include:
Katie Tubb, 17, is the daughter of Joy and John Tubb;
Caitlin Stoner, 17, is the daughter of Terry and Tami Stoner;
Tori Inman, 16, is the daughter of Kathy and Randy Inman;
Lauren McDonald, 14, is the daughter of Daria and Randle Myers;
Kelsey Lawrence, 17, is the daughter of Dena and David Upton;
Brooke Roller, 16, is the daughter of Richard and Rose Roller;
Hannah Turner, 17, is the daughter of Chad and Jennifer Turner.

Young Miss contestants are:
Brienne Kelsey, 9, is the daughter of Brandy Herrin, and Butch Kelsey;
Alyssa Boles, 10, is the daughter of Kelly and the late Michael Boles;
KeyLe Rhea, 9, is the daughter of Tera and Justin Rhea;

Leela Beaty, 8, is the daughter of Candy and Philip Beaty;
Breanna Daniel, 8, is the daughter of Leslie and Darren Parson;

Christmas spirit on parade

Rob Nunley photo The Morrison Elementary Cheerleaders won both the school sponsored division and the people's choice award at Saturday's McMinnville Christmas Parade.

The McMinnville Christmas Parade was held Saturday, featuring 107 entries and lasting approximately one hour. Winning in the business category were Ben Lomand Connect, first place; Prater's BBQ, second. 

Church/civic group/community organization/large non-profit winners were Warren County Sheriff's Office, first; The Vine Baptist Church, second; and Smartt Assembly of God, third. 

School sponsored winners were Morrison Cheerleaders, first place and people's choice award winners; Motlow State Community College, second; and F.C. Boyd Christian School, third.

Small club/non-profit winners were Girl Scout Troop 839, first; Ride N Drive Club, second; and McMinnville Saddle Club, third.

Horse rider club/mule or horse and hitch winners were Saddle Club, first; and Bruce Bush, second.

Antique car winners were Ride N Drive Club, first; Ryan J. Moore, second; and Frank Bond, third.

Most Unusual Vehicle winners were Ride N Drive Club, first; Donald Schott, second; and Tom Davis for Congress, third.

Winning the best band category was the Warren County High School Marching Band.
