Emmalia Irenia Holmes wins title

From a field of 60 contestants in the Fairest of the Fair competition, Emmalia Irenia Holmes walked away with the crown and coveted title Monday night. The 16-year-old junior at Warren County High School caught the eye of the judges with her beauty and grace wearing a white chiffon gown with a rhinestone encrusted bodice. Her proud parents are Scott and Adelia Holmes.
River Park Hospital awards the winner a $1,500 college scholarship to be used at a college of her choice. Reigning Fairest Melanie Grace Rush crowned her successor as the 57th Fairest of the Fair.
Joining Holmes in the royal court are Kaitlin Diane Morton, daughter of Amy Gremillion, first runner-up; Hannah Lea Turner, daughter of Chad and Jennifer Turner, second runner-up; and Taylor Dawn ElGouhary, daughter of Chad and April McCormick, and Erik ElGouhary, third runner-up.
With the contestants casting their vote for Miss Congeniality, the recognition was given to two girls. Honorees are Keley Brooke Roller, daughter of Yvonnda Roller; and Emily Grace Jaco, daughter of Monty and Jayme Jaco.

From the Top 25 list, 12 contestants were chosen to continue in the competition. Those girls are: Fryar, Hoch, Dixon, Kirby, Valenta, Hilliard, Winfree, ElGouhary, Turner, Morton, Roller and Holmes.
