From a male beauty pageant to games in every room on their new campus, the Dibrell Fall Festival drew hundreds to the annual event.“I can safely say there was 100 percent participation,” said Dibrell PTO president Wanda Cantrell concerning involvement by teachers and staff at the annual fundraiser. “Every teacher had a game in their room.”This year’s proceeds are earmarked for a new playground structured toward the upper grades at the school.“Right now they have nothing,” Cantrell said.At last total, the PTO believes it raised around $13,000 during the festival.The event drew hundreds and featured a variety of activities. Along with games in every room there were also things like face painting and spray-paint hair coloring that drew many students.
