Jonathan Womack has resigned his position as 12th District Constable. The announcement of his resignation was made during a recent Safety Committee meeting.The 12th District includes citizens who vote at Northside Baptist Church and Lucky Community Center.County Executive John Pelham said, “Jonathan is a fine young man. He is doing some preaching now and I think that is taking his time.”When contacted by the Southern Standard, Womack said, “I’m not resigning because I didn’t like it or anything like that.
