She killed her husband, fled the state, and then beat first-degree murder charges.Now Warren County resident Mary Winkler will have her story told this weekend as a Lifetime original movie. According to information on the Lifetime website, the movie called “The Pastor’s Wife” is based on the true life marriage of Mary and Matthew Winkler. Matthew served as youth minister for around three years at Central Church of Christ.The family was living in Selmer when Matthew was found shot and killed in his bedroom.
