With the resignation of Warren County High School executive principal Tony Cassel, applications are being accepted from people looking to take his place when he leaves June 30.Cassel tendered his resignation Tuesday saying he wanted to move back closer to his former home in Indiana. He will serve the rest of the school year before departing. Director of Schools Bobby Cox accepted his resignation, noting he appreciates Cassel’s service and respects his decision.In the meantime, the Warren County Board of Education is reaching out to fill his spot effective July 1.“We will post the position on the Warren County School System website from March 6 and will take applications through March 27,” said Cox, noting online applications may be found on the website www.warrenschools.com.Cox said the applicants will be evaluated and narrowed to the top candidates.
