All Kindergarten through 8th grade students in Warren County will now receive free meals, regardless of family income, through a federal program aimed at reducing hunger amongst school students. “This will give access to free breakfast and lunch to all elementary students in Warren County,” said Director of Schools Bobby Cox in announcing implementation of Community Eligibility Provision whereby the federal government will reimburse the county for the funds used to run the project. The federal funding is eligible in all communities where 40 percent or more of students are eligible for free or reduced lunches.
