Vinyl windows will be up for discussion during two meetings this week — a Historic Zoning Commission meeting on Monday at 10:30 a.m., and a Building and Grounds Committee meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.Historic Zoning Commission members will be meeting to discuss what can be done to correct a rejected certificate of appropriateness (COA) request made by local attorney Larry Ross, a denial that angered commission chairman Bobby Kirby.“This action has really made a liar out of me,” said Kirby, during the November meeting. “What’s done is done, but I don’t think there was a follow through on what we agreed to do and it makes me look really bad.”Members rejected Ross’ COA request in October. The request was to allow him to place vinyl windows on the second floor of his property at 110-112 E. Main Street.
