The fourth annual I’ll Be Home for Christmas, a USO salute, will begin tomorrow immediately following McMinnville’s Christmas Parade. Offered by Main Street McMinnville, the three-hour event will close the street from Magness Library to Foster & Foster Realty from noon to 8 p.m. “This year we are having the event on the same day as the Christmas Parade,” said Main Street McMinnville executive director Carla King. “It is our goal to keep parade observers downtown by providing additional activities for them and their families, as well as attract tourists from surrounding states and counties.”Many activities are planned for the day, with one of the main events being a USO show by the trio, Two Tall Divas and a Tip Top Daddy performing hits from the 1940s and 1950s.
