The body of a McMinnville man was found in the backseat of a still-running car outside Saint Thomas DeKalb Hospital early Wednesday morning.According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the victim has been identified as Jace Brandon Sparkman, 30.His deceased body was found in the backseat of a car by hospital staff just after 2 a.m. Wednesday. Investigators are not revealing the cause of his death but they have deemed his death suspicious, leading to the autopsy and involvement of the TBI in investigating the case alongside Smithville Police Department.When contacted by the Standard on Friday, the TBI had no further comment other than an investigation into the apparent foul play is continuing.
