Two people were injured and traffic was snarled on the bypass Monday afternoon following a crash involving five cars.

The 1:25 p.m. accident reduced the bypass to one lane as you're traveling from the mall to Walmart. It happened in front of Gondola.

It was essentially a five-car fender bender as there was no major vehicle damage. The drivers in the first two vehicles did need to be transported to the hospital via ambulance.
