Traffic sentences issued

Sentences were handed down last week by General Sessions Traffic Court Judge Larry Ross. Included in court action:• Christopher Cripps was bound to the grand jury on charges of DUI with a child, speeding, DUI and possession of drugs.• John Welden was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $352 and lose his driver license for third-offense driving on a revoked license.• Tracy Burch was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $1,944 for possession of drugs.• Penny Bryant was bound to the grand jury on the charge of second-offense DUI.• Jessica Davenport was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $504 and lose her license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Terrence Roberts was bound to the grand jury on the charge of second-offense DUI.• Susan Jacobs was bound to the grand jury on the charge of DUI.• Mitchell Burks was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence and pay $1,071 for simple possession of marijuana.• Timmy Knight, Chris Grissom, Jamie Simerly, and Cory Smith were all ordered to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,109 and lose their driver licenses for one year for DUI.• Elizabeth Garcia must pay $172 for driving without a license.• Kathey Pickel was directed to serve three days of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose her driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license and failure to appear in court.• Natasha Evans was instructed to serve 48 hours for driving without a license.• Shaun Sparkman was directed to serve 48 hours and pay $504 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• May Bogle, Terence Moore, Carlos Martinez, Jerry White, Jan Winchester, Joseph Miller and Chad Conner must pay $152 for driving without a license.• Brandon Steele must serve five days for violation of probation.
