Sentences were handed down by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Traffic Court this past week. Included in court action:• Charles Driver was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence for theft.• Sergio Vasquez was instructed to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence and undergo batterer intervention for domestic assault.• Margarito Mendoza was ordered to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $50 plus costs and lose driving privileges for second-offense driving on a revoked license.• Freddie Eldridge was bound to the grand jury on charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and sixth-offense driving on a suspended license.• Gina Nichols was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $150 plus costs and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for possession of drugs.• James Cairy was bound to the grand jury on charges of aggravated assault and leaving the scene of an accident.• Thomas Turner was directed to serve four days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $400 plus costs, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI class and lose driving privileges for one year for DUI and driving on a suspended license.• Dustin Gushwa was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence for escape. He must serve the balance of his former sentence for violation of probation.• Brenda Miller was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, perform 36 hours public service work, pay $600 plus costs and lose driving privileges for one year for possession of marijuana and DUI.• Donald Cobb and Joseph Campbell were ordered to serve 48 hours of 11-29 sentences, pay $350 plus costs, attend DUI School, perform 24 hours public service work and lose their driver licenses for DUI.• Marcos Cuyuch and Miguel Pablo were instructed to serve 48 hours of six-month sentences, pay $50 plus cost and lose their driver licenses for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Clinton Scott was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence for public intoxication and violating an order of protection.• Desiree Dodson was granted a six-month judicial diversion and must pay $50 plus costs for criminal impersonation.• Kayla Griffith and Ralph Worden must pay $10 plus costs for leaving the scene of an accident.• Eric Anderson was instructed to serve 48 hours and pay $10 plus costs for driving without a license.• Amanda Baker, Javier Garcia, Layton Herriman, Kayla Hickey, Nancy Robledo, Charles Cantrell, Jose Martinez and Xavier Bonner must pay $10 plus costs for driving without a license.• Timmy Knight must serve five days for violation of probation.• Whitney Brown must serve the balance of sentence for violation of probation.• Alexander Bourdon must serve 30 days and have his probation extended by a year for violation of probation.• Ricky Northcutt must serve an 11-29 sentence for violation of probation.
