A 71-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Traffic Court. Included in court action:
• Allen Morton was bound to the grand jury on charges of third-offense DUI and possession of a handgun while under the influence.
• Houston Thaxton was bound to the grand jury on the charge of second-offense driving on a suspended license.
• Joseph Moore was instructed to serve seven days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $350 plus costs, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI class, and lose his driver license for one year for DUI.
• Juan Ayala, Lorin Reedy and David Hicks were directed to serve 48 hours of 11-29 sentences, pay $350 plus court costs, perform 24 hours public service work and lose their driver licenses for one year for DUI.
• William Tobitt was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.
• Jayce Weatherspoon was directed to pay $10 plus costs and restitution for leaving the scene of an accident.
• Ricky Brown, Pablo Rosales, Britton Cantrell, Maranda Coates, Jose Lara, Shavaughn Long, Dylan Myers and Jesus Guzman must pay $10 plus costs driving without a license.
• Gary McComis must serve five days and have his probation extended by six months for violation of probation.

Clarification
• Jarrod Scott Norrod, who lives on Falla Street and works with McMinnville Fire Department, is not the same person charged with child sexual crimes in DeKalb County.
