With the sound of school bells in the future, local residents may like the sound of saving nearly 10 percent on their back-to-school shopping.This weekend is Tennessee’s annual sales tax free holiday with shoppers saving 9.75 percent when they purchase school-related items in Warren County. The tax-free weekend lasts from Friday morning at 12:01 a.m. to Sunday night at 11:59 p.m.Clothing, school supplies, and even computers are exempt from sales tax during this three-day holiday.“It’s exciting every year when I get to see all my new classmates,” said Emilee Martin, a fourth-grader at Dibrell. Emilee and Chloe Foist were busy trying on shoes Wednesday at Shoe Sensation inside Three Star Mall in anticipation for the start of school.
