An Eastside teacher came home Friday, a week and several surgeries after being attacked by her friend’s dogs as she visited at her home.The teacher, Vera Kuhn, was airlifted from Friendship Church, located a short way from where the attack happened just off Copenhaver Road. According to family members of the victim, Ms. Kuhn underwent a couple of surgeries and skin grafts to repair damage caused by the multiple bites inflicted by the pair of Mastiffs. Lawmen who responded to the scene said the pair of French Mastiffs had already been put up by their owner, with one weighing in at 160 pounds and the smaller at 140 pounds.
