Warren County students will get a pass on TCAP scores this year as a delay from the state means they will not be calculated into grades this year.“If we held up report cards until TCAP scores came in, that’d mean we would have to call employees back to finalize the grades,” said Director of Schools Bobby Cox in announcing the TCAP scores are not yet available. “That would be quite a bit of expense.”TCAP, which stands for Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program, scores are supposed to count 20 percent of the final grades of local students in grades 3-8. The delay in releasing the scores will affect over 100 school districts across the state, including Warren County.Cox said the state gave the school districts a choice.
