Here’s another benefit to subscribing to the Southern Standard.
A slick, magazine-quality publication has been included in today’s newspaper for everyone who has a home subscription. The 48-page special feature is called the 2013-2014 Warren County Business Directory.
The directory includes fascinating stories about Warren County history such as the origin of the wholesale nursery industry as we know it today, the lumber industry at Depot Bottom, the state’s thriving automotive industry, and the factories that have prospered in Warren County since the 1940s.
The publication also has two pages of quick facts about McMinnville and Warren County.
“We are very pleased with this high-quality business directory,” said Standard publisher Patricia Zechman. “While all of our home subscribers will receive a copy with their Friday newspapers, there will be other copies around town. There will be some available at our office and the Chamber. We will also scatter them around town at doctor’s offices, the hospital and other places where there is a high volume of people.”
Home subscribers should be sure to look for the business directory inside today’s newspaper.
