Four women from Georgia Career Institute were literally in the newspaper Tuesday afternoon as they strutted their stuff on the runway dressed head to toe in editions of the Southern Standard.The Hot Off the Press contest is an annual Valentine’s event at the multi-discipline school located on N. Chancery Street. The campus offers licenses in professions including cosmetology, nail care, massage and skin therapy.“It’s a great teamwork exercise for our students,” said campus director Vicki Mize of the annual event. “We break them into groups and put them with other students they don’t normally work with.
