NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Severe thunderstorms that likely produced tornadoes have struck in central and southeastern Tennessee. Many reports of power being out and trees being down came in to the National Weather Service office in Nashville shortly after 7 a.m. CDT Wednesday after forecasters issued a tornado warning because of a radar signature that indicated a likely tornado in Rutherford County. Forecaster Mark Rose says a funnel was sighted by a Murfreesboro fire hall crew about the same time.
