A woman who allegedly lied under oath has been indicted on aggravated perjury charges.The woman, Bethany Dawn Stoner, entered a not-guilty plea Wednesday before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to the felony charge of aggravated perjury. She was given an April 25 plea or assignment date and was assigned the public defender’s office to represent her.Her indictment comes after she made a statement under oath in getting a petition for order of protection against Gary Jason Hillis. The exact wording of the statement which brought the perjury charge against her has not been revealed.
