State Sen. Janice Bowling (R-Tullahoma) will be in town this Thursday, Aug. 29, to listen to concerns from her constituents.She is holding monthly meetings throughout the 16th Senate District in order to meet with local citizens and hear their concerns regarding issues before the Tennessee Legislature, as well as offer assistance with state services.Thursday’s meeting will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. at Warren County Administrative Offices in the courtroom. The monthly meetings, which began in May, will continue through November with dates and times to be announced.“I’m glad to make myself available to the people,” said Bowling. “If folks need me, I want to be there.”Bowling said she’s been visiting cities throughout her district and the same issues are being emphasized.“Once you start getting a resonation of the same issues, you realize it’s something that needs to be addressed,” said Bowling.She said the constant changes associated with education are repeatedly mentioned as a source of concern.
