LEBANON, Tenn. (AP) — A 19-year-old Wilson County woman has been indicted on charges in the death of her 4-month-old daughter.

Wilson County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Sharon Curtis-Flair says in a news release that Kenya Demoines Jarrett of Watertown was indicted by a grand jury and arrested last week on one count of criminally negligent homicide.

The statement says emergency responders found the baby not breathing at her home last August. Detectives indicated that individuals on the scene gave inconsistent accounts of what happened.

The statement says Jarrett was released on bond pending a court hearing April 1. It wasn't immediately known whether she has an attorney.
