NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A woman has died and two men have been injured following a shooting in Nashville.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department says in a news release that the shooting occurred Sunday afternoon outside a north Nashville residence.
Local news outlets report that authorities responded and found 41-year-old Charity Adams dead at the scene. Two other men, including Adams' boyfriend, were shot and wounded. The two men were taken to the hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.
Police say the three victims had been standing outside when a man opened fire on them. The suspect then fled the scene in a silver Chevrolet Malibu.
This was the second fatal shooting near the home in over a month.
