NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Police say four people have been wounded, two critically, in a shooting in Nashville.
Nashville police said in a statement that detectives are investigating why a car was targeted by gunfire just after 7 p.m. Sunday.
The statement says detectives were told a black sedan pulled alongside the car and open fired with a rifle.
Four people inside the car were hurt. Three were Nashville residents and one was a 25-year-old from Memphis. They were all being treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and were being interviewed by investigators.
No one is in custody.
