The county’s Economic Development/Agriculture Committee held a meeting Thursday afternoon in Spec Building 2 at Mt. View Industrial Park to discuss progress on the opening of the Miniature Precision Components plant.There were concerns from some commissioners when the company, based in Wisconsin, missed its planned opening date, but committee chairman Les Trotman said there are a number of reasons for the delay, and the company has been actively working to hire employees.“I met with Willis Chin when MPC came in and did their job fair,” Trotman said. “They had applications from people there all day long and it was a great turnout from Warren County.
