A small sink hole has forced the closure of Old Smithville Road near the fairgrounds. The hole opened during heavy rains Christmas morning just below the stockyard at the intersection of Old Smithville and Yager Roads. The closure comes as the National Weather Service declared a flood warning for Warren County and surrounding areas due to the combined precipitation in the area over the past few days.
