John Shields is announcing his bid for Warren County Executive. Shields is an experienced engineer and military veteran who is vying to bring responsible and conservative leadership to county government as county executive.“Our county has suffered for many years as industry and jobs have continued to steadily leave our beautiful county,” said Shields. “My goals when elected county executive are focused on bringing jobs and industry back to Warren County, improving our schools to provide our children with a first-rate education, and improving the everyday lives of each and everyone in this county.”Shields was born and raised in Warren County and has lived in McMinnville for 12 years with his wife, Amy, and his three children.
