Seven repeat offenders sentenced

Seven people were sentenced for failing to take advantage of their second chances, all having their sentences extended or enforced by jail time for violation of probation. Included in probation violators:• Nathan Bayless must serve 90 days before being returned to probation for violating his probation on his former conviction on the charge of theft over $1,000.• Danny Ray Hobbs must serve 29 days before coming back out on probation for violating his probation on his prior conviction on the charge of manufacture of meth.• John Judkins was ordered to serve the balance of his sentence for violating his probation on his former conviction on the charge of theft.• Jon Poindexter was instructed to serve 29 days before being released back on probation for violating his probation for his prior conviction on the charge of delivery of drugs. He also had his probation extended by two years.• Dewayne Thompson was directed to serve 45 days and have his probation extended by six months for violating his probation on his prior conviction on the charge of theft.• Terry Bryan McCormick must serve 30 days consecutive to all his other sentences for violating his probation on his former convictions on charges of domestic assault, vandalism and driving on a suspended license.• Joshua Bain must serve 35 days and had his probation extended by six months for violating his probation on his former conviction on the charge of driving on a revoked license.
