Seniors sell trees for party

The parking lot at Bobby Ray Elementary was transformed into a nursery sales yard yesterday.High school seniors, their parents, and some local nursery owners spent the day selling nursery stock to benefit the annual Project Gradation all-night party. Everything from azaleas to red buds were available at discounted prices.“Project Graduation takes a lot of money because we have to buy plenty of prizes,” said Susan Barrett, one of the many volunteers on hand yesterday. “Laptops, iPads, things that will encourage them to stay all night.”Warren County High School graduation is set for May 25, with Project Graduation to follow at McMinnville Civic Center.
