You could say the funding for Project Graduation is really growing.Warren County High School seniors and their parents held their annual nursery sale at Bobby Ray Elementary on Friday and Saturday with buyers coming from around the Midstate.“Our goal was to raise between $15,000 and $20,000 and I think we’re going to reach that,” said Joe Anish, one of the organizers. “Friday was a little slow because of the rain but the weather has really helped us out today,” he said Saturday. All items on hand were donated by area nurseries allowing all the money raised to go directly toward Project Graduation, an all-night party held graduation night at the Civic Center. Anish said the smaller plants and shrubs sold quickly with customers buying several items at a time.“The kids delivered some of the larger stuff,” said Anish.
