What happens next now that Warren County is looking for its eighth high school football coach in the past 20 years?Tommy Johnson officially resigned from the job Monday after four years and a 7-33 record. The Pioneers failed to make the playoffs during his tenure.The coaching job is currently posted on the Warren County School System website. Athletic director Todd Willmore said 16 people had already applied by 1 p.m. Tuesday and he was expecting four or five more by 5 p.m.Director of Schools Bobby Cox said a committee will be established to sort through the applications and determine who to interview.“Obviously we want to get the best person we can to lead our football program,” said Cox.When asked about being able to afford a coach with a proven track record at a winning high school football program, Cox said the position comes with a $4,227 coaching supplement.
