Super Bowl Sunday saw more than just a win for the Baltimore Ravens. It was successful for local law enforcement during a saturation patrol.“It appears people heeded our warning,” said McMinnville Police Department Lt. Mark Mara in revealing the results. “We had no DUI-related accidents or DUI-related arrests.”The department stopped 12 vehicles, gave seven warnings and wrote eight citations — three for speeding, four for driving without insurance, and one for driving on a revoked or suspended license.A saturation patrol is an extra shift of officers on duty, with officers directed to specifically watch for indications of driving while intoxicated.
