Compassion, caring and understanding were words used to describe the Social Services Person of the Year for 2012 by the Upper Cumberland Social Service Association.Waylon Rush works as a case worker and was nominated for the award by an anonymous praise-giver. The person wrote in Rush’s nomination, “He leaves no stone unturned to help his clients find services needed. The compassion for the person he helps is outstanding.
